I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Recruiter reached out, went through initial call with him, invitation to a recruiting event. Recruiter seemed like they were new or had little experience in recruiting- questions were painfully awkward. Fast forward three weeks later, nothing from the recruiter and managers whom I connected with. They seem to be a real mess right now and I’m unsure if offered, I would even take a position with them. Others whom attended the event connected with me and are having the same situation.
I first spoke with a recruiter for the screening process, which took about 25 minutes. She was late, but was very nice and provided tips on what they're looking for. She sent a lot of follow up information to prep for the next interview round. I then met with the hiring manager who did a deeper dive into numbers and expectations.
5 rounds in total, 1 with HR, 1 with a Sales Manager, then 3 in 1 day: Manager, Director and another Director. Very low acceptance rate. Must demonstrate growth mindset, specific deal metrics, and a natural drive.
