I applied online and was contacted within 3 business days to schedule a 20 minute phone call. They rescheduled our interview the night before which felt disrespectful but hey, things happen. No one ever calls me the day of the interview so I then find out that she no longer works there. I had to reach out to several people to see if the job was still available. Two weeks later I get a call from the replacement interviewer and she apologized and rescheduled the interview. Communication was smooth and the interviewer was polite and made me excited for the position. The day after the call, she texts me to tell me that they cannot accommodate my desired salary. I appreciated the transparency and she wished me luck on my job search. Today I received a rejection email two weeks after our phone calls and texts. It feels very unnecessary and sharp seeming how we had already communicated weeks ago. Bizarre place with no clear communication and very low wages.
