I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Ban Phone Savang) in Nov 2018
Interview
An absolute joke. Interviewers seems distracted. Was supposed to be a video conference and I was the only one who actually dialed in to video call, both club managers opted for audio only. Neither had any follow up or comment when they asked each other after I answered questions. I have sent two follow up emails since interview with no response. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism during an interview process in my nearly 20 years of big box retail. If these guys treat their employees with the same lack of respect and focus as they do their interviewees, I feel sorry for all of them. I’d love for someone from Home Office to reach out to me for more information on my experience. Part of me wonders if I was illegally discriminated against? Maybe we should explore those options. I would think that a company so large and successful would teach their managers...who are responsible for $100million businesses the importance of conducting quality interviews and treating ALL qualified candidates with decency and respect.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sam's Club
Interview
I interviewed with Sam's Club out of the blue during a jab fair held at the base I'm stationed on. All interviews went great. I did a total of three interviews on the spot (local & regional level). I did a couple more over the phone interviews & basically was told that the position mine. However after waiting for everything to come back from the VP of HR, I was unexpectedly told that they had "too many people in the training pipeline" for future store openings. Extremely disappointed to say the least...
