Received an email to set up phone screening. Nice and casual. This was for more of an administrative role but when I mentioned by technical skills and experiences I was told, "Well this role isn't very technical, we don't really need those experiences for this role" etc. when I'm just trying to talk about any skills. Person was nice though but isn't that what phone screening is for? Selling your abilities and knowledge?

Very strict screening according to stated job spec. Recruiter conducts initial telephone interview and gives feedback within one week. Second phone interview - this time conducted by the hiring manager. Contacted within a few days to set up a face to face interview.
