I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SGL Carbon (New York, NY)
Interview
Everything with the technical sales team was positive throughout the interview process, but not so much with the HR team. They came in swinging with higher salary and bonus promises above the postings before we started interviewing.
After three fast interviews and a tiebreaker, the final offer from the external HR contact came in ~20% lower than what they were saying at the beginning. While working to negotiate for the original range, the offer was suddenly rescinded with an automated LinkedIn message and no notice from anyone i'd interviewed with. The process was very fast in the beginning and then slowed to a crawl once it went to the external contact.
It was a shame to invest multiple interviews into what seemed like a good company, only to end in a rugpull.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SGL Carbon (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Good interview process. Multiple interviews with hiring manager first, and then with the team. Questions are both technical and situational. I was offered a description of the position, and I was given the chance to learn more about the role prior to the interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at SGL Carbon (Wiesbaden) in Nov 2019
Interview
