Succinct, but too much talking from the owner of the company. Didn't feel like the position would be a great fit because all he needed was drafters to pick up more jobs.

Question 1
What is your level of proficiency in Revit and Autocad?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SBLM (Huntington, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
I was interviewed by the principal and a partner. The interview included two parts - a conversation and a CAD test. They immediately called to make an offer in 1-2 days but it was less than I was making at my current job so I declined on the spot. The partner then offered me 5K more which was still less than what I was making currently . Most of the time people leave their current job because they are not making enough. I told them I would take a few days to consider but ended up declining. When I did decline, the principal wrote me a nasty email to say “it’s not about the money - it’s about learning and growing”. I agree to some extent but his opinion does not pay for my bills. He doesn’t know me or my current situation. There was no need to be salty.
