Interview process was similar to SAP Labs because its the parent company now. I applied through SAP India careers and got a call from the recruitment team within a week after submitting my profile. Likewise 1st round of telephonic ( technical round)was scheduled and interviewed by the QA manager. Interview questions were focused more on QA / Testing processes and it lasted for 45 mins. The interviewer shared a positive feedback in the same call and said the HR team of Ariba will get in touch with me for scheduling the next round. Likewise my 2nd telephonic ( technical) was scheduled in the same week . This interview was entirely about SAP SD knowledge and lasted for 30mins. Again I cleared this round too and interviwer was very positive and asked me to be prepared for onboarding soon. Immediately after the 2nd round HR called again and arranged for In person interview at their Bangalore office. In person was supposed to be 3 rounds- QA Manager round, VP round & HR round. Due to unavailability of VP only two rounds happened and it lasted for 2.5 hrs. In the HR round I was confirmed that I cleared all the technical rounds and I am through the interviews. Next step would be background verification which would take 2 weeks. After that HR will get back to me asking for documents to release the offer letter. I got a call from HR after a week saying they are interviewing few other candidates for the same position and will update me the status once the interview process is done. I didnt get an update and on asking them myself, HR told me they have finalized on a different candidate!!!!!! From the Glassdoor reviews, I already had a notion that Ariba, Bangalore is a professionally unorganized and unstructured team and this personal experience confirmed it. Because the way manager was talking about adding 20 people to the team for the profile I was interviewed, I felt its going to be a very fast paced hiring of multiple good resources. I guess, HR team have confirmed a consultancy candidate because they get good commissions from consultancies.
