Pleasant but brief interview. The questions were directly related to the responsibilities, although there was one question at the end that was a bit strange to show I can think outside of the box.

Question 1
How would you explain the color yellow to someone who cannot see it?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rutgers University (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2012
Interview
There were two interviews. The first interview was with a search committee. Be prepared to discuss your experience working with students, academic advising, and any knowledge of the career process. The search committee is the most difficult. You typically meet with the hiring manager last. Definitely wear professional dress. (ex: suit, button down shirts).
It's also helpful to research the division and campus for which you're applying. The schools each have their own identity and will want to know that you are aware of what makes them different from every other school within the university.
