I applied online. I interviewed at Rutgers University
Interview
Had an over the phone interview followed by a panel interview. Interview consisted of mostly behavioral questions. I was asked about project and some technical experience, but not in great detail. During the interview I was asked questions about experience on my resume.
First contact was a phone interview. Followed by an in-person interview with hiring manager then lastly an in-person interview with the director of the department. Interviews were used to discuss my previous experience and the departments role on the campus.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ)
Interview
Worst interview of my life. Went in person and had to complete multiple whiteboard coding problems as well as one debugging code problem. They also asked me to recall every class I took in university and asked me class specific questions (wtf).
Overall the entire session was three hours (way over time). Obviously I did not do very well as what they were asking of me was beyond ridiculous - I'm a person, not a human robot able to recall all of this information! 😓 They proceeded to ghost me.

Interview
Too many interviews. Nice people. Decent pay and benefits, offer of continued education which is nice if you're into such a thing. Did I say too many interviews, though? Overall, seems like a nice place to work if you enjoy a lot of breadth in your job.
