Position Offered: Software Developer (Unpaid Internship leading to Performance-Based Placement)
Location: Noida
Package Mentioned: Up to 9 LPA (Performance-Based)
Actual Offer: 6-Month Unpaid Internship
Recruitment Process Overview:
The company came through campus placement and attracted a large number of students by mentioning a package of up to 9 LPA.
On reaching the venue in Noida, students were shown a presentation where it was revealed that the actual salary ranged from 3.5 to 9 LPA, and even that was performance-based.
More importantly, the first 3 months were entirely unpaid, which came as a surprise to many.
Selection Rounds:
1. MCQ Round: 25 basic Java MCQs (30 minutes)
2. Pen-Paper Coding: Spiral matrix problem – moderate level.
3. Technical + Personality Interview: Basic HR questions, checking communication and thought process.
4. Final CEO Round: This round was the most unpleasant part of the experience.
CEO Interview Experience:
The CEO's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful.
He asked students to use ChatGPT to scan and run their pen-paper coding solutions, which was unconventional and made little sense in a test setting.
He continuously used his phone during interviews and asked random, often irrelevant questions.
When candidates tried to explain their logic or code, he interrupted, saying he didn’t have time to listen.
His overall attitude was dismissive and discouraging, making students feel undervalued.
Final Outcome:
Only 4 students were selected, and the offer was a 6-month unpaid internship, with no clarity on job conversion or guaranteed salary after that period.
