RootMetrics Senior Software Engineer, Devops interview questions

A fairly typical industry process: phone screen + onsite. Both were extremely pleasant. The onsite interview consisted of first talking with HR briefly, then a pair of couple interviews, each consisting of a Director or VP-level person, and a DevOps IC. I was super impressed with the casual atmosphere, the comfortable-but-no-nonsense approach to explaining where their DevOps process was at, and the problems they needed to solve. It seemed like it would be a great company to work for, coupled with interesting work. It seems an offer would have been made, but I was working through a recruiter, and the company was aware that I was more interested in a management position pending elsewhere; had that fallen through, Root was my next choice.
