Applied online through the website. After a week they sent me a skills test to complete. A few interviews and a month and a bit later they offered me the job. Interview process was long and thorough. A little disorganised at times but mainly due to employees being busy.

Did an initial interview with the hiring manager (Engineer Manager) that was just a "tell me about yourself" and "what do you know about Rocket Lab"?
Was told that I'd hear back in a week on scheduling the 2nd round but that never happened unfortunately.

Do not trust the recruiters. There is a complete lack of transparency from the Rocket Lab recruiters, who seem to take pride in presenting themselves as open and honest while failing to provide clear or accurate information or status of the interview process.
Straightforward no non sense interview process with normal people looking to make sure you are qualified. Enjoyable, but definitely there to make sure you know what you're talking about, which makes it challenging.
