      Machine Learning Engineer Interview

      28 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Roc Search (Denver, CO) in Oct 2024

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter from ROC Search for a Machine Learning Engineer role. Initially, the conversation went well, and they showed strong interest in my experience with NLP and cloud deployment. However, after our call, I received no follow-up despite multiple attempts to reconnect. This lack of communication was unprofessional and left me questioning their recruiting process. I would have appreciated transparency, even if the news was unfavorable.

      Question 1

How would you handle an issue when training a large language model (LLM) to ensure it understands who is speaking during multiple turns of conversation and doesn’t respond inappropriately?
