The recruiter and I set a time to do the initial phone screen, she called me three hours late and we had to reschedule. We completed the phone screen on a different day, basic interview questions. They will call your references before you complete an interview with anyone with real hiring power, which I consider unprofessional. The interview was virtual with the recruiter, a field engineer, and a quality manager. Somewhat aggressive questioning, I defended myself as best I could considering I was a fresh graduate with no practical experience. While the job posting and recruiter led me to believe this was an entry-level position, the people in charge and in the field were looking for someone with real-world experience. The interview wasn't difficult, but they were definitely looking for someone with practical experience.
