Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are 3 words your last employer would use to describe you ?
**** We are Rivers Agency in Chapel Hill, NC **** We did not interview this person. We do not have an Atlanta, GA office. Sounds like a scammer interviewed you. ALSO, we are a small company and do not have a Benefits Specialist. No clue how Glass Door gets this information.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rivers Agency (Chapel Hill, NC)
Interview
I applied online and quickly received an email response and setup a time for an in-person interview at the office. During the interview I met with the CEO of the company and learned lots about the position, company culture and clients.
I also completed a skills test in the office as part of the interview (somewhere around 3 hours). I was paid for the time I spent working on the test, which was an unexpected courtesy that showed the values of the company. I have been on many other interviews requiring tests and/or full days of working that have always been unpaid.
After I followed up with an email and was given a timeline of when to check back in regarding the position if I did not hear back. I checked back in twice before hearing back but did receive a sincere email back explaining the delay and with the final steps before officially receiving an offer.
The CEO was open and honest about salary, benefits, room for advancement and made sure any questions I had were addressed before I ultimately accepted the offer of employment.

Question 1
Explain your familiarity with social media outlets and running paid campaigns within them.

Interview
Interview process was unprofessional. I was invited to the office for a screening interview, which was with the Senior Account Manager. Feeling this conversation went well, I was asked to complete three applicant tests (which I was paid for). After a week, I was asked back for a second interview with the Creative Director and CEO. During the interview, my answers (that I heavily prepared for) we’re consistently interrupted with personal questions/comments. Nevertheless, I felt the interview had gone extremely well—I was given a tour and even discussed a training timeline. I was told I would hear a final decision ASAP. After a week of waiting and hoping, I sent a standard follow up email. I was met with two sentences stating they had already hired someone and thanks for my time. After a month long interview process, they weren’t even going to close the loop.
We thought you were amazing!
I guess our excitement in your interview was seen as an interruption to the flow of your conversation. You are very qualified, talented and everyone enjoyed meeting you.
Our only misalignment was the salary requirement.
I am sure that you are excellent at what you do.
All the best,
Lauren Rivers
