The interview process was very thorough because they want to ensure that the right applicant is hired for the role.
The first step was a phone call with the recruiter to get an idea of whether my skills and experience aligned with the role.
As a second step, I met with the hiring manager for the department to share more about my experience and learn more details about the position and expectations. I was then asked to complete a written assessment to gauge my communication skills since that is important for success in the role.
Upon passing the assessment, the third interview was with the team manager who went into more detail about the day-to-day of the role, specific skills that translate to success, and the challenges of the position as well. It was very informative and gave a great picture of what working at Richardson would be like.
The final interview was with the HR team to cover expectations, further understand my background and how that would contribute to success in the role, and answer any additional questions that I might have.
It was a great experience and really allowed me to understand the culture and the environment, and it painted a realistic picture of what to expect in the position.
