I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Dec 2022
Interview
30 min screening interview with HR: - 5 min - intro by HR about the company and its major milestones - 5 min - provide overview of CV and relevant experience - 15 min - HR asked role related questions - 5 min - HR finally revealed the salary (well below market rates) and explained the next 5 recruitment steps: 1. Series of at-home aptitude tests (numerical, situational judgment and verbal). HR explained that due to the difficulty of these tests, they would send practice tests in advance. 2. An at-home "financial crime challenge" test 3. First stage interview, focused on problem solving 4. Second stage interview, focused around cultural fit 5. Third stage interview, whereby you (finally) meet the hiring manager and team
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever undertaken a complex investigation? The interview was very one-sided. HR asked, candidate answers. What financial crime legislation are you familiar with? What financial crime cases are you currently aware of? What is your experience with data? HR explained the role is data focused. Why do you want to work at Revolut?

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Revolut (Paris) in Jun 2026
Interview
I received a message from a recruiter on linkedin about a job opportunity at Revolut and if I was interested. I responded positive and received a link for a call interview for which I changed the slot two times. They were flexible with finding new slots.

Question 1
Tell me about a situation you managed stress and difficulty

Interview
Interview process is very long unnecessarily. You are made to feel like a cog in the wheel and every candidate goes through the same process and same case studies with no detailed feedback provided at any stage of the process. I was rejected at the skills interview stage and there was no feedback provided as to why I was rejected, even though the interview went well and the interviewer explicitly referenced the next stage. Generic rejection email sent and was ghosted when I asked for further feedback. Not very useful from a development perspective.

Interview
1. Screening interview
2. CCAT (maths/verbal/shape test)
3. Technical interview about Financial Crime and how a hypothetical Revolut process could be improved
4. Problem solving interview - get given a hypothetical case study example - you need to ask questions to get to the 'root cause of the problem' and then present back 3-5 solutions.
I didn't get past the 4th stage, and when I asked for feedback I got told they don't do detailed feedback and maybe next time! A very disappointing end to what was a good recruitment process. I don't get how the company feel it's fair to not give feedback to candidates after 2 interviews.
