A recruiter contacted me to schedule an initial phone screen. After three weeks, they asked if I was interested in a panel interview with their team members. The phone screen was fairly basic, covering my current role, knowledge of the company, and salary expectations, with very few job-specific questions. The panel interview felt more like a pitch for the role, as they only asked two questions—one about my academics and another about my character. Ultimately, I was rejected, and the entire process lasted over a month.
