I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reputation (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2021
Interview
Cold contacted by Recruiter on LinkedIn -- was very nice and professional. Discussed the Engagement role for maybe 20 minutes was given immediate feedback to interview 1 on 1 with department director. That was pretty much the end of the pleasant experience.
Director clearly forgot about my interview -- once I emailed both him and the Recruiter after waiting for 20 minutes he responds immediately asking if we could go over slotted time and meet...realize this is now 4 PM on a Friday evening my time. I say yes; the director ended up being very informative and straight shooter -- both came to the conclusion I would not be a good fit for their version of Engagement Manager (read: sales manager) so he recommends I email him about other roles I find interesting and he'd put me in touch with peer executives.
I email a week later and no response. I contact the original Recruiter who puts me in touch with a different recruiter for a Customer Success role. This 2nd recruiter lacked polish and follow-up. I tried for over a week to schedule time with her and a hiring manager but she seemed annoyed that I went on vacation (even though I offered to be available during my vacation). Tersely told me to follow-up with her when I was back; I did so and never heard from her again. For a company all about satisfaction and reputation these people are running a miserable ship.
