I applied online. I interviewed at Republic Services in Feb 2015
Interview
Very Friendly, but once your in there. Things change really fast, co-workers walk around unhappy because they are working long hours and not being paid. One of my co-workers had to work a part time job to make and on the way home from his part time he had a very bad accident and spent months in the hospital. Does this sound like a place you want to work, if so help your self. This company can make the nicest person unhappy. They make you think while you are in training that you are gonna have it so good, as soon they put you on what they call day rate with your pay, you will see how fast things go down. Try to pay your bills on that little pay check,
if I can handle riding on the back of a truck for two weeks chucking garbage when the job I was there for was a DRIVER! She said new guys ride on the back for two weeks throwing garbage into the truck and THEN they have to split a shift with a co worker on collecting garbage. I then told her no I could not do that due to a bad back and then she said goodbye to me. Three minute interview.
