I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Airways
Interview
The first 20 minutes were with an HR person with the dispatch manager sitting in the room just listening. All questions were the normal "tell me about a time" or "why do you want to leave your current job". After that the next 15 min or so were in the dispatch manager's office. 5-6 questions about dispatching, then a brief tour of the office

Question 1
What was your least favorite part of dispatch school?
I applied online. I interviewed at Republic Airways in Apr 2021
Interview
Broken into Two parts: 1) phone conversation with HR and, 2) technical interview with a dispatch manager. While I did not follow through with the second part, a decision I made, the first part was standard.

Question 1
The questions were geared towards how you would perform in the unique setting of a 24/7 operations center. Be prepared for questions like: How would you get along with someone who doesn't like you? How do you handle stress? What moment can you recall that made you a tam player? etc.
The HR rep was very kind and very easy to speak with, which relaxed the conversation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Republic Airways (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2014
Interview
Very chaotic, multiple recruiters would call and set up dates then cancel, the actual interview itself went well it was with a small panel and included a tour of the facility. Then after the interview there was no contact for months, I believed I was not selected until they called and made an offer and told me I would have to start in 5 days.

Question 1
Mostly standard HR questions like tell me about yourself, and why should we hire you. Then several job specific technical questions like what is the 1-2-3 rule or what are icing conditions.
