I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Republic Airways in Jun 2014
Interview
First off if you have tattoos from the neck up or elbow to fingertips walk away now. Secondly any leg tattoos or foot wear dark colored stockings. Interview was session was fairly easy. We all were invited into the session at 8:30 am doors closed promptly at 9am. Sat through a couple of videos and company overview presentation. Then we were dismissed back into the lobby to fill out paperwork and were called 4 at a time to be interviewed. (there were 4 representatives from the company so the interviews were one on one, but you are all in the same room just in different corners being interviewed.) Interviews went by the distance traveled (if you flew you went first and if you live in the area they call you by the amount of travel time). Fairly simple basic customer service questions.
Watched a video explaining the role and company values. Then, there was an opportunity to practice recording. Make sure you look into the camera, and not at yourself! Most of the questions you are only allowed to record once. The question is presented, and you are giving 1-2 minutes to prepare your response.

Interview
Virtual recorded responses. About six questions, the question appeared on the screen, there's a countdown, then you must record your response. Some questions we're a timed for one minute with one minute to respond. Some allowed more time to respond.
I applied online. I interviewed at Republic Airways in May 2025
Interview
One-way video interview—2 minutes prep time for each question, 2 minutes allowed for each response, no retakes. There was an 11-minute intro video that discussed the company's background, mission, culture statement, scheduling, and pay expectations. This was followed by a 2.5-minute tutorial on how to record and submit responses. There was also an opportunity to do a practice recording before beginning, so that was helpful. It was very awkward to talk directly to the camera without a person there, so be prepared for that, but it was good practice and a learning experience if nothing else. I recommend recording yourself responding to interview questions before sitting down to do the interview.
