Had an initial call with the recruiter who moved me on to an interview with the team lead. I thought the interview went well, she explained the next steps and that I would hear back about scheduling a panel interview sometime in the next week. I heard nothing, reached out to both the recruiter and team lead asking if there was anything else needed from my end. CRICKETS. This is poor practice and unfortunately becoming more common among corporations. A simple email stating you have went in another direction and thanking someone for their TIME that they took from their current job to interview for your "ghost position" would be appreciated in the future.
