I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Relativity Space (Long Beach, CA) in Sept 2025
Interview
Interview was exclusively technical questions (flexure formula, Archimedes principle, design for manufacturing, etc.) It is best to prepare by reviewing the Fundamentals of Engineering handbook based on the topics mentioned in the job description. This will help you find an equation, law, theory, or relationship to based your answers off of.

Question 1
Beam bending, applications of design for manufacturing, elements of a pressure transducer, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Relativity Space in Jul 2025
Interview
First interview was very conversational. Very relaxed and it just felt like I was having a chat with another person passionate about aerospace. The interviewer gave me an overview of the position and the company then the rest was him poking around at my resume and what I was looking to get out of the job.
Second interview felt more like a real interview (felt like more rehearsed questions and less just like a casual conversation, but that's also what I would expect). Still relatively relaxed and a good experience.

Question 1
Some questions I was asked:
Interview 1:
1. What is something on your resume that relates to the role? (and once I told him he asked me a lot of questions on it)
2. What are you looking for in a role?
Interview 2:
1. What would you do if something got delayed in the supply chain. How would you avoid downstream issues?
2. What was a time a made a design decision and how did you document it?
3. Also asked more question about items on my resume
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Relativity Space
Interview
Recruiter calls you to set things up asking you a few preliminary interview questions. Then someone from the engineering department you are interviewing for calls you a few days later to interview you over the phone.
