Multiple phone and face to face interviews. First is with recruiter, then face to face with hiring manager, then face to face with regional manager. I was initially contacted at the beginning of May. That recruiter referred me to the RM for a face to face however, that manager thought me living in the another county wasn't practical so I was referred to another position which was closer. (no problem there) That manager never contacted as the recruiter quit. Finally, the replacement recruiter who was HIGHLY communicative reached out for ANOTHER phone screen. That proceeded to a f2f w/ the hiring manager. She was ALSO a dream to work with. She advised she was ready to make an offer but felt I'd be better suited for a position with more responsibility. She referred me to the RM. Now, I had to wait to get a call from him as I'm sitting on 2 other offers. 3 weeks later he calls. We schedule a meeting where he advised I was highly recommended by two other people from a previous employer AND the manager I'd interviewed with. His interview wasn't even an interview. We spent a lot of time talking about the "good ole days". A day later, I got the offer for the position I'd interviewed for WEEKS ago NOT the one I waited to speak with him about. The offer was low. Negotiated a minimal salary increase. Nice people. Broken process.
