I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2016
Interview
Got an email very quickly after applying via their website to set up a phone call initial interview for few days later. The call was a few minutes late and the interviewer seemed rushed - but friendly. It was hard to gauge how well things went due to how hurried the guy seemed, but he let me know he would be in touch in a week to let me know about the next step or to provide feedback - which I really appreciate.

Question 1
Very conversational. Lots of questions about why i applied, why Red Hat, why it would be good for them, why it would be good for me...
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Waterford) in Apr 2026
Interview
general technical questions about coding, variables, databases, linux. More interested if you learn the subject text by heart than you are a good character/worker. That is all. Nothing else to mention
It started with a phone call from HR, and then I got a call back to set some time up to get interviewed by someone on the team. Once I passed that round, I got interviewed by the hiring manager.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, and how would you describe yourself (3 personality traits)
3 rounds -recruiter screen, technical, panel interview. Relatively standard process I would say. I would recommend brushing up on your basics, in addition to looking into the specifics of your particular role and what you can bring to the table/ what interests you the most about the particular technology you would be working on.

Your usual behavioral questions in addition to questions about your resume
