I applied online. I interviewed at Reassured (Basingstoke, England)
Interview
Very poor, ritualised exercises that had little intrinsic relevance to the job advertised. Some employees very rude and management/CEO dismissive. If you require your interviewees to read a stifling script with no real world relevancy and as fantastical as Narnia in it's writing you're clearly not hiring for expertise; felt that they looked more for compliance than any relevant skillset to the job at hand. Reviews online in threads about missing payments and insurance pay-outs withheld for months made me tentative before arrival, experience in their head office affirmed it afterwards.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Goals, introductions, script reading - terribly written, was not expecting Cyrano de Bergerac but neither expected long-drawn out drivel with no insight into the job either.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Reassured
Interview
Call with a recruiter first saying how this role would align really well with my current experience. Video call over teams with 2 people (they were a few minutes late and no apology) though we had a great conversation and it was fairly relaxed and it felt like I was a great fit in terms of personality, work ethic and passion. They had spoken to the recruiter about me beforehand and had my CV so knew about me before meeting me but it turns out an hour of my time was effectively wasted because I didn’t have the level of experience required even though they supposedly take people of varying levels and have a great training programme. Please only interview people if you think they have the required experience, don’t lead them on and waste their time. Looking for a new job takes so much time and energy and that doesn’t deserve to be wasted.
I am also writing more new business in my current role than they expect of their new starters so it didn’t make any sense at all as to why they said I don’t have the required experience - you’ve seen my CV and I’ve told you my numbers. Yes I’m new to this role with only a few months experience and looking for a more supportive environment to help me thrive but I’m exceeding the targets you set so surely that shows I’m more than capable to achieve your numbers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Did a role play with very little info on how they wanted it structured and of course each business is different so I could only do what I currently know, it doesn’t mean I can’t adapt and learn new processes. More explanation or insight would be better suited rather than just going “ok we’re going to do a role play now”

Interview
Open day , single interview, telephone interview , group discussion , offer, was a few years ago so may have changed dance then , it was overall a good interview experience and didn’t go on too many rounds.
