I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ray of Hope (Kitchener, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
* apply online using their forms and sending in your resume.
*wait a few days.
* get contacted by HR to set up an interview (that is on their time schedule only), and to fill out an additional form for a casual/pt - relief position; which seems like a joke when you have to be a very educated and experienced individual (they lack trust and they do not appreciate professionals in the field).
*ask questions prior to the interview, and get no response.
*salary, benefits, and hours are never listed and never listed on their job descriptions for a reason - they offer really awful wage rates, no benefits, and the hours are horrendous (you'll be asked your availability during the interview, but they won't respect that for this position...).

Interview
It was very personal, but that made it more genuine and welcoming. There were questions that tested where I was at with essential skills, and then more personal questions to get more insight about myself. The interview felt more like a conversation, which made it much more plesant and genuine.

Question 1
Why do you think we should choose you over all the other applicants applying to this workshop?
