I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Rancher Labs in Aug 2020
Interview
Pretty good interview process hampered by bad management. First three interviews are with team members, covering various technical aspects with some behavioral things thrown in, last is with the hiring manager (mine were out of order for some reason.)
Engineers are personable, aren't expecting perfect answers, but will definitely test your knowledge of Linux, Docker, and general cloud troubleshooting.
The hiring manager, on the other hand, will nitpick what you list on your resume and criticize your career choices. Does not seem like a great dude to work for, even the recruiter mentioned the hiring manager doesn't like him. Makes you question the upper management a little bit.
Overall, a good process, minus the last part. Find a different support manager, Rancher

It started from campus recruitment then 2 weeks later there was a 30 minute technical interview with one of their engineers. The interviewer was great about the explaining the requirements and what was expected.
