I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rakuten
Interview
The interview process was quick and there were total of 3 rounds, two of which were pretty technical. None of the interviewer were talking about the benefits, their work culture or other pros why I would want to join them which seemed like a red flag. The offer I finally received was really lowballed and they obviously try to hire desperate people who want to move to Japan with minimum salary. They wouldn't negotiate about the offer.
