The process was friendlier than I expected while we talked mostly about the skills that I possessed and what would my contribution to the company be. Overall the experience though me a lot about how to present one self in a formal setting.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Raising Cane's (Hilliard, OH) in Feb 2022
Interview
I applied for an interview online during February of 2022, and walked in with very little internal pressure and low expectations. I told them I was there for an interview, and they gave me a cup and told me to find a seat. They were understaffed and the drive thru was extremely busy, so I waited about 5-10 minutes before a harried manager came to the booth and started my interview. It was a trivial interview. My location is chronically understaffed and if you have an ounce of charisma and no obvious red flags, they'll hire you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were extremely basic, even for a position like this. The only two that mattered were 1: Previous work history. 2: Activities outside of work.
Very welcoming and got back to me quickly. The managers there are super talkative so don't be worried about anyone being too weird. A lot of them are on the younger side as well, so that's a plus.
It was easy. Managers didn’t ask anything besides availability. Make sure to seem very cheerful and enthusiastic and they’ll hire you on the spot. The interview probably lasted around 15-20 minutes. Cannot stress how easy it was
