Interview was with a person who held the same position being applied for and stated they had been with the company less than a year. First off, the interviewer was late for the call and then just went straight into introducing her background. This person stated she had to ask the required questions and didn't seem interested in my introduction but said I could ask questions at the end. Total of 4 questions which were all pretty basic. What was very awkward was after every question I answered, there was a long pause..she did not acknowledge that she was listening or still on the line and I had to ask "hello?" to make sure she was still there. When it was my turn to ask questions, I asked a basic question about company culture and she replied "do you want my opinion or the opinion of the company?" This took me by surprise because, as the person interviewing me, doesn't she represent the company..? If the employee & company have different views on basic company culture, that's not a good sign (especially if she was willing to give her differing opinion during my interview). Interview lasted a total of 12 minutes. I felt like she wanted nothing to do with this interview & after speaking with this person - I wanted nothing to do with the company.
