I've applied for a director level position in HR/People Ops and received a relatively quick response but on that note, my experience with Quizlet ended. I received an email from Quizlet's VP of Operations and Business Development for a time to chat, and after 3+ follow up emails from me, I received no response to schedule a time. Even before talking to the company, I was let down and disappointed as a candidate. At least, have some dignity to respond to the candidates YOU reach out to.
