The recruiter who had contacted me sparked my interest as I was contemplating a change. He arranged for an initial telephone interview, and let me know what would likely be discussed and the important factors for the sales job. The interview went well, the interviewer was very nice and professional, and genuinely wanted to understand my motivation and how my experience was relevant. In the end this role was not a fit for me and I chose not to pursue further.
