Took one month to respond to an online application, and no HR or introductory call. They sent a take-home assessment and took 6 weeks to send an automated rejection email.
More details: I applied for the position online - it took them over a month to respond to the application. They send you a take-home assessment without doing any HR screening call or interview, already feeling very impersonal. The company didn't get back for nearly 6 weeks - not even a confirmation that the submission was received on their end and had been viewed. I tried to contact them for any update after 2-3 weeks - no reply.
Then after 6 weeks, I receive an automated email saying that all the submissions had been reviewed - that they had received an overwhelming amount of applications, probably because they didn't bother to do any initial screening interviews. At the end of the week, they send another automated email saying that they were going forward with other candidates.
Overall, a complete waste of time - if you're going to ask candidates to dedicate time outside of their work and lives to complete a take-home assessment, you owe it to them to at least personally respond to their submission in a timely manner. Candidates learn nothing from an automated response.
