I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Lehi, UT) in Oct 2023
Interview
The recruiters are on it. 24 hours after submitting an application I had an email from a recruiter scheduling a call. Overall it was an easy and laid back interview.
I interviewed with a recruiter and she seemed very new at her role, or nervous. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but it very much sounded like a scripted interview and her responses to me were very robotic. Her questions had a lot to do with my current role and mostly were basic questions that she could of found on my resume. What I found VERY odd was that she asked me for my college GPA. It has been about 5 years since I graduated and I was not sure how that was relevant to my role. I have been an event manager for five years and very qualified for this position. It seemed like a very, old-school interview. On the call, she immediately scheduled me with the hiring manager and sent me a calendar invite. After the call, she emailed me and asked again for GPA. I told her that I could contact my school to get the exact number, as it has been many years since I have been asked that question. Once, I gave her my GPA, the next day she cancelled my second interview and gave an excuse that they went with another candidate. Very old-school and unprofessional. The recruiter did not do a great job representing the company. Seems like their values and qualities that they look for are not relevant to the role. I am also interviewing for a competitor right now, and in my third phases of interviews with them. It is night and day the differences between these companies. Their competitor didn't ask me questions that they could have found on my resume. They had a genuine interest as to who I am as a person and focused on company culture. I highly recommend Qualtrics follows suit.
