Recruiter called - asked bunch of technical questions
She sent take home assignment, even after completing assignment right and to the requirement, received a rejection email. I wasn't even specified the rejection for the assignment.
First round interview, just a few background questions by a recruiter. I was quiet interested in this company, have good resume, and have project and internship experience in related field before, but no idea why got a reject.

Had a phone call with recruiter talking about your technical background. Talking about how much you know about the company. So do enough research of the company is very important. Then the recruiter will explaining the company's products and teams to you as well as ask you some other basic information like expected salary, etc. Then, the recruiter will send you an offline coding practice practice for you to finish before going to the next step.
