      Customer Success Manager Interview

      5 May 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at QAD

      Interview

Had first interview with the recruiter and went well. A couple days after I was asked to interview with a regional counterpart of the role. Really great discussion and at the end she clearly stated that she will definately recommend me for the role. She even gave me interview tips for my upcoming call with the Hiring Manager. The next day the recruiter contacted me to ask availability for an interview with the hiring manager. I provided availability but then kept getting a runaround with some lame excuses. For 2 weeks no further action and then I got a message from recruiter that the hiring manager decided to go with another candidate. Although I was upset for been dragged around for 2 weeks, I accepted it but asked for feedback. Never heard back from the recruiter. Within the next 2 weeks I asked 3 times and never got a single answer. Finally, I reached out directly to the hiring manager. He came back with a dry response that he will look into it. Did not hear back for 2 weeks (!!) and then I got an email from him where I was told that "sorry for the experience, we will take action to improve it" . I thought this was a joke. Still no feedback? The hiring manager was acting all along as if he was not involved. I asked again for specific feedback. I was then given a generic response that "he hired someone else that is why the hiring process was stopped" ! Still no personal feedback. 2 days later I saw the role advertised again! I emailed the hiring manager asking what was that all about. Never got a response. Two (2 ) months later the role is still advertised. I now doubt the role even exists. What is even more frustrating is the fact that this kind of subpar experience comes from people that are heading roles in customer interaction. That is really worrisome. Time Wasters with no respect for people's time. Stay Away!

      Interview

Had 2 interviews for a position in QAD Allocation in Munich. First short interview with the recruiter, second interview with a hiring manager. Got ghosted after second interview. Wrote email to recruiter asking for the status, but email got ignored. Very unprofessional and Directoirestil.
