Pye-Barker Fire & Safety interview questions

Initial interview is phone call with company recruiter to gather candidate's' information about their employment background and experience in the HR Benefits Specialist role and job functions performed in previous roles. Discussed where the company is located and the job position will be an on-site role.

Interview process seemed pretty typical, and during the 1st round interview the hiring manager (CTO) said he wanted to move me to the next round. After not hearing anything for a few days, the recruiter got back to me saying they were not going to continue with me, and reportedly didn't provide any reasoning as to why. The sudden, unexplained flip flop seems rather unprofessional.
