Pure Fishing interview questions

Quite a few emails before the first interview. Initial interview with HR manager and then the next with HR Manager and head of HR. The next interview was with the hiring manager. I passed through all stages and was told I was at the final stage and they were going to set up the interview in person. After a month and quite a few emails asking for when this would happen. 2 weeks later I get a quite generic email they no longer going to hire for the role. Really a waste of my time and energy and would avoid interviewing or applying to the company. Was more than qualified for the role and they stayed this also but seriously what a waste of time and poor organisation on their side.
