It was straight forward. There were 3 parts to the interview process including presenting a mini seminar, a panel interview, and a 1-on-1 interview. Decisions on hiring were made quickly.

To be invited for an interview, candidates had to answer a series of questions. Some responses were written and involved recording a video. Since instructors lead synchronous seminars, the recordings are an appropriate way to gauge how candidates will present themselves in the seminar. The dean who conducted my interview made me feel comfortable from the start. It was a great conversation where I was told about the school and expectations for the position. I was given space to ask questions to ensure I understood what this position would involve.
