Some live coding in tech interview with engineers I would be working with. Python, SQL. Some non-tech interviews with management and product. Also, I think there was a coding test before the interviews.
General Behavioural and logistics questions, next they gave an assignment and told to submit it withing three weeks after which there will be another video screen round which would be with the team.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PubNub (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
After initial Google Hangout I was asked to build a chat app. After one month I received a rejection email.
Hiring process made no sense. The CTO does not know his profession boundaries. Please do not text future applicants. It is just weird.
