I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in Aug 2015
Interview
I conducted a phone interview. It was a bit like the STAR system that was described on the website, but rather than explain specific scenarios, the questions asked more about my responsibilities in my current job. There were also questions about why I was interested in Progressive. It was pretty standard. None of the "tell me about a time when you did X" or "tell me about a time when you had to do X when you wanted to do Y and how you went about it."

Question 1
What is your typical day like at your current employer?
Long process with fact scenarios given and had to present the same to various levels of management. Basically had to conduct an initial case evaluation. Scenarios given for each area of work.
Thorough interview process with at least three stages. Total time commitment for the interview process was almost 4 hours. Beyond the standard few questions were a simulated fat pattern in analysis

Interview
They are very emphatic about following the STAR method for responding to questions. Make sure to review this, come up with some questions, and practice responses prior to the interview.
