I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Hong Kong) in Jun 2022
Interview
Having worked there before I thought why not give it another try. I know the company quite well and know the skills level there is abysmal. Most of the people there are computer illiterate and their IT system is in shamble. I remember one day not having a computer for a week, that's how fast they are.
Anyway, outside they are brushed as the best company etc... but in reality it is populated by lifers with no ambition.
So I saw one of their job ad and thought I would give it a go. As always it was convoluted but then it's P&G, need to keep the army of useless HR people busy.
I was asked to pass a test supposedly tailored to the role. I will spoil for you it's not. It's the same test they give fresh grads, you can even find the details online haha...
The test is some wishy washy psycho-pop bs, nothing there will test if you are fit to work there or fit for the role. It is quite disrespectful to put value in some crap like that and give the same test to people with 10+ as fresh grads with no life experience.
Anyway, if you have a bit of ambition do not apply there, go work for a modern company with actual technology. I applied out of curiosity and realised that nothing has changed, it is still the same dinosaur it was 20 years ago. P&G does not make products, it's just a private equity company buying and selling brands.
