Overall, the process was hands down the best interview process that I've been involved in. Everyone was quick to reply and the process moved along very smoothly. The recruiter was extremely nice and ensured that the process was efficient and valuable for both parties. Began with an initial phone screen with a recruiter consisting of basic questions that you'd expect to be asked in any interview. Next was another phone screen with an engineer. Again, some general questions and a few high-level technical questions. After that, there was a paired code challenge with an engineer. They provided a test suite and your job is to write the code to make them pass. Final interview is a half-day onsite interview consisting of several parts. Initially, you sit down with all 4 of the people you'll be interviewing with throughout the rest of the day. They ask you some 'get to know you' questions so you aren't having to repeat yourself throughout the day. Second, you have a conversation with an engineer about why you got into software and some of the challenges you've faced along the way. Third part is split up into 2 sessions. First is a code challenge similar to the first one, only now you have 2 people sitting next to you , watching you do it. The second part is an architecture challenge where you design (high-level) a popular board game that could be played online. The final portion is a leadership discussion with an engineering manager to gauge your ambition and goals.
