I had two phone calls with different employees where we talked about my experience, interests, reasons for applying, etc. I was also able to ask questions about their jobs, the company, departments, culture, what would be expected of me, and more. Both calls were pretty casual and everyone I spoke with was personable, considerate, informative, and helpful. It was great to hear more about the company, department, and specific jobs/tasks as I applied without any real prior knowledge.
