      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ProDIGIQ (Thousand Oaks, CA) in Dec 2015

      Interview

I interviewed with this company back in 2015 when they were just starting out. I thought about them randomly wondering if they were still around so looked them up and felt it was right to leave my review since reviews seem misleading on here. Disorganized interview process took about 3 weeks. CEO called me on a Sunday for a phone interview first, had me come in for an in person interview with multiple people, they asked for 4 references and called all of them, and in total it was 5 interviews via in person and phone. At the time I was trying to do a career change and really wanted this opportunity, but as I talked to Arpit and his employees more something just didn't feel right. His employees didn't seem genuinely happy. They were just starting out and I remember asking the Marketing guy how long he worked and he said he mostly did 60 hour work weeks. Everything seemed good and they had talked to me so many times asking me if I was willing to do more work and wear multiple hats. They wanted me to be an office manager, do cold calls, and manage projects plus more. Arpit and his wife felt that I would be able to handle all the extra work, but things really went downhill when I asked the marketing guy what the average work hours per week will be because it was important for me to have a work life balance since I came from a job that made me do so much overtime. They never answered my question and Arpit was upset that I asked and felt like I wasn't going to take the job seriously. That was a red flag for me and it seemed like he definitely was going to have me do a lot of overtime. Something that bothered me too was they asked if I was planning to have kids any time soon. I felt that question was very inappropriate. After talking to them so much, I decided to tell them I was no longer interested in the job. I read the reviews on here and they seem fake and forced. Go on LinkedIn and actually search people that worked for this company. You'll see high turnover and you will also see that a lot of them ended up going to work at 2 other companies. Seems like past employees rallied up people and was able to refer them to their new company.
