      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Porter Novelli (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2023

      Interview

All interviewers were prepared (they clearly read my resume), friendly, and open to answering questions about strategy, clients, and the agency overall. The response time also was fast: I submitted my resume and cover letter, and heard back within forty-eight hours of submission.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Q: describe a client program/initiative that you were the most proud of. What were the objectives, strategies and the result? Q: describe a client program/project that did not "go well." Unpack it, and describe what would have needed to be mitigated, for the project to be successful?

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Porter Novelli (New York, NY) in Jun 2024

      Interview

Overall it was a standard, straightforward interview process. I was screened on the phone by someone from HR, then I had two rounds of interviews with three other people who I would be working with. One person was the one who became my manager when I started and the other two were people were both more senior than I was.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked standard questions including: Tell me about yourself. Why Porter Novelli? How do I stay organized/what's my working style? Where do I see myself in five years? There were also a few questions specific to my resume.
