I applied through university. I interviewed at Piper Sandler
Interview
Attended on campus recruiting event and later applied for and received invite to summer networking event. Attended the San Francisco event, and due to my online preference received first round phone interview for New York office. The interview was mostly conversational, without any technicals and only a few behaviorals. Seemed as if the Summer Analyst positions had been filled.
It was a hirevue video recording with about 5 questions in there. After that, they contacted straight for super day. Super day was 4 b2b and each lasted about 30 minutes. Overall difficulty was not too bad - got grilled with some technicals but they were mostly basic.
Through the first round, it seemed very light. I still have not heard back yet. I am waiting on hearing about a potetional superday for the new york city office
Great process with the tech team. Mostly behavioral with technical screen. High quality team, first rounds technical later rounds all behavior and fit based. The culture seems and communal flat
