I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pickr (Norwich, England) in May 2021
Interview
I had a talk with the CTO of Pickr, which was very new at the company. We had a conversation about my experience as developer with mobile & web apps. Specially, talking about backend solutions. Then I got to do a take-home technical test, which I did and was not reviewed at all.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Pickr (Norwich, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
No real process - messed around by the CEO, then eventually came in for an interview (about 6-8 months later - should have been a sign).
Interviewed by two guys, who asked no tech questions and hadn't read my CV/LinkedIn. Pretty much an organisation that is happy to waste time, and has no experience of hiring developers.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Pickr (Norwich, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
Arranged an interview in a pub, bought drinks and a platter of food. Spoke about the business, the culture and approach.
Had a chat about previous experience, the future of the business and where my role would fit in.
